HOHOHO! It's me again! ^^

I'll try my best to update this blog often. So do read & tag alright!

I came to know that the SecOnes are starting to learn "冬". Jiayou yeahs!
And also, do check out the previous posts to hear the song of "Dong"..
Listen to it and play along with if! Listen and you'll know when to come in..

Although it is a hard piece, we still have to learn it by heart (: Take every practice seriously and practice the piece well. Soon, you will find that the piece is not that hard to play. Practice at home, in practices. (: Goodluck okay! Jiayou, put in effort!

Is Archery fun? It is right! :D Trying your best to hit the Bulls Eye. If you aim properly, you would hit the bulls eye. Just like playing Erhu/Zhonghu/Gaohu, if you have a goal, go for it and you will get your results.

Remember! Next Archery is till 4.10pm okay! (: Cause of the missing of the 1st lesson last week.

Seeyou all later at the ChengSan CO (EVCO) concert at Esplanade alright! :D Have fun and listen to how they play, carefully, then compare yourself to them, someday, you might just be as good as them. Who knows? :D

Sec ones, im sure all of you are bored in today's sectionals. I know how you'll are feeling as i was a Sec One before. It's not that i want to nag but, you all need to be more serious in practices. Im not saying you all are not serious all the time, but yeah, just need some improvement? :D I know you all are bored, but if you are concentrating on the piece of score you all are practicing,time flies. Don't complain, put your energy into playing your 胡 okay! Im sure all of you can do it, remember, practice makes perfect!

I know some of you does not like to practice, does not like CO and thinks it is bored. Put in some effort, think positively, im sure it is Time. After a while, you will find CO is a nice place to be in, a place where you can relax and look forward to, it depends on how you view it in your angle.

I'll try to think of ways to englighten the sectionals but first, you all must practice hard. ^^ I believe you all will succeed. Right? (: Don't let the efforts by your seniors be put down, practice hard, im sure all of you wants to go into Dazu as soon as possible right! So show your talents! All of you have it, its whether you show it or not :D

To end off, i would like to say, Jiayou & don't let your seniors remind you all to practice, do it yourself okay! Take some initiative and show us what you all are capable to do.. :D JIAYOU! :D

As for the seniors, show them good example,be their role model and teach the juniors when they are in doubt,thanks! :D

Be proud to be in MFCO, Huqin! :D We want to be united, yarh? ^^

it's me again!i know i'm a nagging person:)i'm sure most of you will know we are having sectional tee.pls tell the sec two the colour u prefer[p.s there's a colour template for u to choose,i will pass to wei xiong],the material[collar-polo,no collar-jersey].and most impt your PE shirt size.[if it's too big,sorry that's the size the company will be printing base on the pe size].i 'was' wondering if your will want to get one for zls and wang lao shi..ha!i know it sounds weird cause i do think so.and i doubt they will wear that!ha:D anyway just post your comment for this on the cbox k?and if your want them to have the tee maybe we have to pay for them as part of a present':)and no dark colours for this tee okie?i'm sorry for this restriction but it's too dull and moody.i hope string ensemble will be full of vibrant ,enthu and hot n spicy ppl!so i'm choosing hot spicy red colour ha!i know your will think it's ugly.but it's okie:)i will respect the majority.but just no dark colours.and sec one: your will have to buy too cause your part of it:D let get it quickly done with the tee before the seniors step down so that we can take a group photo.and maybe we can wear the tee on one of the combine:} oh yeah,sumbit any design your think that will leave great impression to ppl:) that's abt it. fighting everyone for your studies and may we meet soon during practise.i heard many of them saying they miss co practise.me too.

i can;t find gao hu and zhong hu.here's some background info.even myself didn't know that much.see, u never know that you are weak when you heard or see someone playing better than you.maybe before the 'dong' score come we will try practising some of the left and right hand skils.read below: :)

The instrument also takes the name of huqin, the full term for hu. Its early ancestor was generally known as xiqin (string instrument of a Mongolian tribe called the Xi) in tenth century. Now as an important solo instrument for the recital hall, it is appropriate both for deep tragedy and for the momentum of an avalanche. Besides, it also assumes a central position in the modern Chinese orchestra, as well as in the accompaniment of singing, dancing, and traditional operas.
Under the influence of the regularly trained musician Liu Tianhua (1895-1932) and the local minstrel Hua Yanjun (known as Blind Man Ah Bing, 1895-1950) during the 1920's, the erhu developed into a solo instrument. Its two strings are generally tuned a fifth apart and its range cAn reach three or four octaves. Playing techniques are rich for both hands, including vibratos, harmonic tones, trills, glissando, pizzicato for the left hand and legatos, detaches, martellatos, saltandos, tremolos, flying staccatos for the right hand.Tuning: d1-a1The best range is from d1 to a2; from a2 to d3, this sound of the range is soft, up is not so well.

let's continue to jia you for your studies and cca! i don't know what to post....but just hope this blog won't be dead cause theres so many juniors in string assemble!ha! tml is monday again..and six day would have pass since the syf '09:\ i miss the practise with u guys man.really....don't worry i will come back once i'm not too occupie and help u guys with 'dong' this song.which requires lots of practise than before and better skills:)sec one: don't slack anymore[for those who have been slacking].i know it's quite boring once you get the hang of playing simple notes.but, be strict to yourself.every note requires accuracy.and takecare of your hu okay?if not zls[zheng lao shi-conductor]will never upgrade our hu at all:\don't your wish that our section will be the best?if your don't wish to get scolding/nagging from seniors and instructors show them u can do it by practising hard{:of course very soon your will also be senior too.and your will wish the following batch of juniors to listen to you right?let's make the string assembly the most perfect section in mfcio!{p.s cause zls is also 'playing' er hu in SCO}jia you everyone:D we can do it! and just do it:)!love your! study hard this week and the following 2 weeks.after tt we will have fun practises together!see ya soon:)
